Job Description

EveryBill is looking for a Sales Development Manager who will be responsible for generating leads and closing new business, as well as participating in the development of EveryBill’s sales process. We need an experienced market development specialist with a track record of turning a high volume outbound contacts into qualified prospective clients, and who is eager to take responsibility for closing deals and managing accounts. The person must be a systematic and experimental learner who seeks to constantly revise his or her approach to improve results.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in EveryBill’s managed software-as-a-service solution for businesses that want to accept payments online
  • Make cold-calls to a wide range of potential clients
  • Write clear, concise, compelling sales emails to potential clients
  • Quickly identify needs of potential customers and articulate clear solutions
  • Manage and coordinate follow-ups with prospective clients using CRM software
  • Exceed activity, pipeline and revenue goals on a quarterly basis

Requirements

  • Experience with high-volume outbound lead generation and transactional sales
  • Experience with consultative sales
  • Track record of success selling SMB companies
  • Fluency with CRM software and workflows
  • Thorough understanding of and comfort explaining complex software and business workflows
  • Skilled in virtual presentations and Web demonstrations
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude, difficult to discourage
  • Willingness to travel to sales conferences and customer sites as directed by management
